THE 72 TITLES OR UNITS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

From the first meeting, The Group of Five began imparting information regarding the basis of Creation and the forces operating within, along with the ways they can be used to the benefit of all mankind. From the initial phase, they passed on information about the Tree of Spheres, which is also called The Tree of Life, and its inner forces. Each one of us has his own individual Tree of Life that the souls uses and it expresses the forces with which the soul chose to accompany it throughout the experience. These forces manifest through the four elements, which present the soul with its list of experiences.

At this point, The Group of Five gave information on those seventy-two units of conciousness, which in the Kabbala are called “ayin bet shemot”, which constitute a chart of elements of Creation, similar to a type of “chart of elements” of chemistry in our world. These units are divided into four elements. Those who know how to operate them are akin to the chemist in our world who can control the chart of chemical elements and can create any substance he wishes through its use.

The 72 units have already been known to those who study Kabbala and the Zohar. They were first mentioned in a well-known Biblical verse from Exodus, (Shmot), chapter 14, verses 19-21, in the Portion of Beshalach. The text tells of the splitting of The Red Sea by Moses:

"And the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud removed from behind them, and stood behind them;

[20] and it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud and the darkness here, yet gave it light by night there; and the one came not near the other all the night.

[21] And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all the night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided."

This verse is the only reference we are familiar with in the written scriptures, about the implementation of the 72 titles, or units of consciousness, for shifting procedures of Creation. Since this Creation is based on the four elements, we can infer that these units represent those four elements as well, each one in a separate form and with a separate essence. The knowledge of the ways to use these units was apparent during the Atlantis era and the people of Atlantis knew how to formulate changes and even affect the weather using these units. The Tanaim in their time knew the secret use of these factors, according to which, Choni Hama’agale brought down rain through the circle he drew. When Moses completed the splitting of The Red Sea, the knowledge was lost with his death. Now, this information has begun to be accessible. With the ending of the Age near, the cosmos has opened all possibilities of supplying tools to the souls, so that they may raise their consciousness during the changeover.

The units of consciousness bring all forces of Creation with them, through which one can construct and change his life as he pleases. Their force brings the power of awareness and thought as well as the power of creation and healing powers of all levels, along with the potential of earthly actions. Each unit is comprised of a root of three letters that typifies the forces therein, and they appear in a chart referred to as “the chart of the 72”. The units of consciousness are divided into three factors for each element, so we find twelve units in each element. Since Creation was created through the polarities, each unit of consciousness is actually composed of two titles, each one constituting a polarity, hence twenty-four units in each element.

The name Jehova contains the four elements. The first letter (Yud), represents the element of Fire, the second letter (Hei), represents the element of represents the element of Water, the third letter (Vav), represents the element of Air, and the fourth letter (Hei), represents the element of Earth. During the Age of Earth, the distribution of the units of consciousness corresponded with this Age. They were set up in The Tree of Spheres on its right, on its left and in its center, with the units forming a single factor divided into three separate parts. Therefore, if the division into elements exists, then the units of consciousness representing the element of Fire are controlled by the letter Yud, the units of consciousness representing the element of Water are controlled by the letter Hei, the units of consciousness representing the element of Air are controlled by the letter Vav, the units of consciousness representing the element of Earth are controlled by the letter Hei.

The units of consciousness in all the elements are divided into primary units, from which the secondary units were derived, and from which the third units were derived. Their location in The Tree of Spheres corresponds accordingly. The Tree of Spheres is constructed of three triangles that correspond with the soul level,(neshama), the level of spirit,(ruach), and the level of psyche, (nefesh). This division into three levels allows for the lowering of the primary forces residing within the primary units that transfer the soul forces to the second level, in which the units that were derived from them can impart their power to the lower level, the level of psyche. Obviously, those units in the third section are the lowest and constitute the actions of the spirit level and they directly affect our earthly lives. However, since the entire setup is nourished from the primary force, the information brought to us by The Group of Five, shows the way to channel this power in order to further nourish those units of lower levels, thus extracting from them precisely what we need.
